  1. Hello!!! I am so happy to have found you. I have always wanted to get a vintage singer treadle sewing machine. By chance, my front door neighbor threw hers to the garbage. She told me it sews but that it was too rusty. I took it to my repair man and Hurray!!! He was able to fix it, oiled it, changed some parts and the machine runs smoothly. Since its vintage, I had no idea how to thread the upper thread. And here you are with the video and info I needed. My machine is pretty much like yours, from 1934. I will subscribe to your channel. You have so much info to
    teach. Thanks for your channel♥️♥️♥️

    1. Hi Sarah! 🙂
Thank you for such a lovely message.
What a save – congratulations! I always find it mind-boggling that some people will try to sell their vintage machines for hundreds … and others throw them in the garbage.
They were certainly built to last.

I’ve finally got a vintage “industrial-lite” Singer machine up and running – bought it in January 2020, but it’s taken SO much to get working properly. I’ve had to do things to this machine that I never fathomed. All very scary when I started, but in the end, quite straight forward. I certainly reached a new level of appreciation for the ingenuity that went into their design though.

Thank you for your support and YouTube subscription.
I hope you find the range of topics covered in future additions to be of interest 🙂

      All the best,
      Rebekah.
